The venues will be The Fred and Sandy Point Art Oasis in Frederiksted. St. Croix is about to welcome a brand-new creative and eco-friendly destination: Sandy Point Art Oasis, officially opening on Wednesday, January 29. Nestled between Dorsch Beach and Sandy Point, this innovative space blends art, music, and sustainability against the breathtaking backdrop of one of the island’s most stunning coastlines.
Built from repurposed shipping containers, Sandy Point Art Oasis is more than just a venue—it’s a canvas in progress, inviting local artists to help shape and complete its evolving masterpiece. Murals, sculptures, and artistic elements will continuously grow as part of a collective creative effort, making every visit a new experience. A recently sponsored Shawshank Redemption-themed art contest has already brought fresh inspiration to the space. (The film’s famous final scene was shot right at Sandy Point!)
