In previous articles, I wrote about ways to island hop from St Croix to St Thomas via the Seaborne Seaplane and the new routes being offered by Fly The Whale Airlines. There are also plenty of routes offered by Cape Air. They are all fabulous options to hop islands quickly for a reasonable price. But looking further, I really want to explore beyond just the US Virgin Islands. So, I decided to do a little research and share my findings.
By Air:

Seaborne/Silver Airlines has the Seaplane that runs several daily flights between St Croix and St Thomas. They also have direct flights to Anguilla (AXA), Antigua (ANU), Tortola (EIS), Dominica (DOM), San Juan (SJU), St Kitts (SKB), St Maarten (SXM), and St Thomas (STT) from St Croix (STX). There are actually more flight options from St Croix than St Thomas.

Fly The Whale Airlines is limited to travel between St Croix and St Thomas, but they have many daily flight options between the two islands.

Cape Air has daily flights between St Croix and San Juan, St Thomas, Tortola, and Vieques, PR (VQS).
There are also major airlines like American, Delta, and Spirit that all have STX options as well as flying private charters with Bohlke International, but I am sticking to the most accessible options for island hopping.
By Boat/Ferry from St Croix:

From St Croix, there are only two ferries available. Both options travel from Gallows Bay, St Croix to Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas. The ferry companies are Native Son Ferry and QE4 Ferry, click the links for the pricing and times. On a rare occasion, there may be a Native Son Ferry going from St Croix to St John, but not a common or reliable occurrence.
USVI Islands by Boat/Ferry:
Want to visit St John and Water Island? There are hourly ferries that go back n forth from St Thomas to St John from 6:00 am until midnight. If you have a car, there is even a car barge that runs from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm between STT and STJ. Nearby Water Island has many hourly options from St Thomas also.
Bucket List BVI Islands by Boat/Ferry:

Once on St Thomas, your options are substantial to visit the neighboring British Virgin Islands…which is on my personal bucket list.
