As a visitor traveling the US Virgin Islands, I was told I haven’t visited St Croix until I have visited Buck Island. I must say there are few experiences more breathtaking than a trip to Buck Island. Situated just off the coast of St. Croix, Buck Island is home to some of the most beautiful beaches and hiking trails in the Caribbean. While the island is small, it offers a wide range of activities for visitors to enjoy, from snorkeling and swimming to hiking and sunbathing.

The island of St. Croix is known for its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, making it a popular vacation spot for many. However, during Easter time, a unique tradition takes place that sees thousands of Crucian families leave the comfort of their homes and head to the beaches to camp for at least three days of fellowship. This long-held tradition, which dates back at least thirty years, is almost sacred to the people of St. Croix.
