This free two-day festival features an incredible lineup of musical acts including Shred Is Dead, Easy Riders, Marcus Rezak, Hayley Jane, Kurt Briggs Schindler, Travis Riddle, Swimmer, Porschia, and a variety of daytime poolside DJs.
Shred is Dead is a group of exceptional musicians led by guitarist Marcus Rezak. Their unique blend of inspirational jams and fierce rock n roll, inspired by The Grateful Dead & Jerry Garcia Band, will take you on an unforgettable musical journey. Their music is a pure blend of inspirational jams and fierce rock n roll that will leave you mesmerized.
The Easy Riders are a highly versatile and dynamic band capable of performing in any setting. Their repertoire spans various genres such as traditional blues, jazz, bluegrass, gospel, acoustic music, rock, Reggae, Funk, and original music. Their exceptional vocal harmonies, skilled Guitar Slide playing, and Vintage styles ranging from early rock & roll to hall of fame blues and Jerry Garcia make them an outstanding musical act.
Hayley Jane draws inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, including the 60s and 70s rock and pop, folk, blues, soul, psychedelic, funk, and bluegrass. Her diverse influences are reflected in her captivating performances that can take on many forms. Whether she is performing an intimate solo acoustic set or delivering an explosive full-band show, Hayley always brings her unique blend of charisma, humor, and passion to move her audience.
Kurt Briggs Schindler, a Caribbean native hailing from the beautiful island of St. Croix, is an esteemed singer-songwriter-performer and a local musical legend. He has gained recognition for his use of live looping technology, which allows him to record multiple instrument layers in real time, creating a full band sound. Kurt’s music draws inspiration from a variety of genres including reggae, soca, Latin jazz, rock, and flamenco resulting in his unique style. Additionally, he co-founded the Schindigglers Band – a Trio/Quartet that fuses world music styles such as Reggae, Rock, Latin, Jazz, and Flamenco while performing both original compositions and covers.
Travis Riddle has become a prominent figure on St. John’s music scene, impressing audiences with his exceptional skills as both a solo artist and collaborative band member. With his mastery of the guitar and vocal talents, he effortlessly navigates through various genres including blues, bluegrass, acoustic, rock, and jam bands. It’s no surprise that he is a beloved St. John favorite as a solo performer too.
Introducing Swimmer – the Rotten Roll band hailing from Burlington, VT. What is Rotten Roll, you ask? It’s a clever term for “Rock N’ Roll and other shit,” which includes genres like jazz, funk, electronica, and more. The band consists of Matt Dolliver on keys and saxophone, Cotter Ellis on drums, Joe Agnello on guitar, and Jack Vignone on bass. With their unique style and high energy, Swimmer has amassed a devoted following thanks to their one-of-a-kind performances.
Porschia Denning is an artist and musician who has beautifully merged different art forms into one picture. She is a passionate seeker of love, truth, and beauty and expresses herself through various mediums such as painting seascapes, creating with stained glass, ceramics, jewelry making, and performing music. Her love for playing guitar and singing is evident when she gets on stage and performs! Her music has been described as Diva Blues. Recently she has even added live event paintings to her already impressive repertoire. Porschia Denning is truly a multi-talented artist!

There will also be fire dancers (Purafire) and Moko Jumbies presented by Guardians of Culture Moko Jumbies to educate visitors about St Croix’s rich cultural heritage. Finally, St John resident Porschia will be on hand showcasing her beautiful art (and music), some of which will be created live during the festival weekend.
