Hop into the Holiday Spirit at St. Croix’s Easter Egg Hunts

Easter celebrations in the Caribbean often include a popular tradition of Easter egg hunts. Families and children gather to search for hidden eggs filled with candy and small toys.

And if you’re fortunate enough to find yourself on St. Croix during Easter weekend, you’re in for a treat. The island boasts not one, but two exciting Easter egg hunts that families with young children, teens, and adults can enjoy.

First on the list is the Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the St. Croix Christian Church at Cane Bay. This event offers the traditional egg hunt, games, prizes, and music, but also a unique twist – an underwater egg hunt for older kids! This Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday, April 8th, from 10:00 am to Noon.

If you’re looking to get into the Easter spirit in more of a livelier environment, Leatherback Brewing Co. has a fun-filled day planned as well. Their Easter Egg Hunt is also taking place on April 8th from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and boasts a variety of activities for the whole family. DJ Kimodam will be spinning tunes while Earl Childs the Clown & Face Painter provides entertainment. The event will even feature a visit from the Easter Bunny himself! There will also be food and drinks to keep attendees well-nourished throughout the day.

Both Easter Egg Hunts provide families with a fun way to celebrate Easter weekend on the beautiful island of St. Croix, whether you are a visitor or a resident. The events are geared towards different ages of children, so individuals and families of all ages and activity levels can enjoy them. So, if you happen to be in St. Croix over the holiday weekend, be sure to check out these Easter egg hunts for a day filled with fun, food, and festivities.
