Welcome to another show in the series of free musical events at The Fred where we showcase the incredible talents of Hayley Jane performing with the “Dead Housewives” (of St. John) and a special featured headliner returning, the renowned international DJ Chris Karnes with support from digitalLovejoint, who will close out the night!
You might recall Hayley Jane, who mesmerized us with her energetic stage presence and theatrics at last year’s “Dead Shred at The Fred” Festival. She ignites a bond with the raw, unbridled spirit within her audience. Her live performance is infused with unfettered intensity and vocal prowess.
She will be joined by the Virgin Islands’ own “Dead Housewives,” hailing from neighboring St. John. The Dead Housewives is an island all-star ensemble led by super-talented guitarist Travis Riddle and gifted performers from the incredible jam band Mother Goat.
If you missed him last time, mark your calendar, as World Champion DJ Chris Karns is back! Attendees from December are still buzzing about the high energy and flawless skills he brought to the dance floor at The Fred. His performance is not to be missed. He is a key member of the legendary Pretty Lights band, a music producer, turntable master, and sample scratch artist. Witnessing Chris Karns in a cozy, intimate setting evokes the atmospheric essence reminiscent of renowned boiler rooms found in major cities worldwide. It’s undeniably a delight to experience firsthand.
Also returning is our favorite bass goddess, digitalLovejoint! She may have been relatively unknown to the islands at her last appearance, but she quickly made her mark with innovative mixes featuring a full range of filthy trap, jungle house, and drum ‘n’ bass, elevating the dance floor energy to new heights. Her performance had many asking, “When will she be back?”
