Officially opened at the end of January 2025, the Sandy Point Art Oasis is a beacon of creativity and sustainability on St. Croix. Utilizing repurposed shipping containers, this innovative venue is nestled between Dorsch Beach and Sandy Point (just past Sand Castle in Frederiksted), offering breathtaking ocean views. Sandy Point Art Oasis serves as a living canvas, continuously evolving with contributions from local artists through paintings, sculptures, and installations. Its commitment to eco-conscious practices is evident, being powered by solar energy. Visitors can enjoy the food truck, bar, and watersport rentals on site. The upcoming concerts by Hayley Jane & The Housewives will be the first major musical performances hosted at this venue, setting the stage for many more events to come.

Monday, March 3: Kick off the festivities at The Fred from 1 PM to 4 PM, featuring a lively performance by Hayley Jane & The Housewives. The Cayamo Music Festival ship is set to be in Frederiksted on this date, so both ship passengers and St. Croix locals can attend. The event will also showcase traditional Moko Jumbie dancers, adding a rich cultural flair. You do not need a ticket to attend but you will need to purchase a day pass to use the pool, chairs, and amenities at The Fred.
Tuesday, March 4: Join the Mardi Gras Beach Party at Sandy Point Art Oasis from 1 PM to 4 PM. Attendees can enjoy free shuttles between The Fred and Sandy Point Art Oasis, with complimentary Mardi Gras masks and themed southern food and drink specials. Day pass holders at The Fred will receive a free drink token for use at Sandy Point. The celebration continues with an afterparty at The Fred from 5 PM to 8 PM, featuring a DJ and festive cocktails.
Wednesday, March 5: Conclude the musical journey with an intimate evening performance at The Fred from 7 PM to 9:30 PM, highlighted by mesmerizing fire dancers under the starlit sky.
