One of the advantages of Melanie and I visiting St. Croix was that Melanie’s cousin, Anthony, lives in St. Thomas. Since he travels back and forth from St. Croix to St. Thomas, he has friends in St. Croix that we’ve gotten to know. A couple of days ago, Anthony told us he was coming to St. Croix for the weekend. We never would have expected the adventures we had with him.
Even on vacation, everyone has a day of slow rising and sleeping in. Ours was today. Taking our time to get up, we had no clue what the day had in store for us. We may not have had a plan, but sometimes, planless days become the best days. Looking for inspiration on late start activities, we remembered that a friend had recommended Rainbow Beach for a day of relaxation and recovery. With our bags packed, we took off down the road to see what the day had in store for us.
Noodz, the new ramen noodle restaurant in Christiansted St Croix, has officially opened its doors and I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening. The restaurant is located at 1101 Strand St, in the former 40 Eats and Drinks location, next to the historic Club Commanche Hotel.
St. Croix is a paradise for beach lovers, and Rainbow Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. With its soft white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, Rainbow Beach is a must-visit for any traveler.
There is so much to see and do on this historic island. St Croix in the US Virgin Islands is the perfect place to explore and escape into paradise. With only one cruise ship (on rare occasions two) in port at a time, you don’t have to worry about battling large crowds and can make the most of your time here.

When I first heard about the Domino Club, the idea of pigs that drank “beer” was a bit intriguing to me, but also seemed like something straight out of a weird dream. I figured I had to try it out for myself and see what all the fuss was about.
When I arrived on the island many people recommended Six Nine Restaurant & Bar on St. Croix, so I have been itching to check this place out. I was not disappointed.
