Dead Shred at The Fred: A Free Festival of Music, Culture, and Art

Looking for an event that combines jam-band music, art, and local island culture? Then look no further than the upcoming (next weekend) Dead Shred at The Fred in Frederiksted, St. Croix!

This free two-day festival features an incredible lineup of musical acts including Shred Is Dead, Easy Riders, Marcus Rezak, Hayley Jane, Kurt Briggs Schindler, Travis Riddle, Swimmer, Porschia, and a variety of daytime poolside DJs.

The Grove Place baobab is estimated to be over 250 years old, a product of African seeds brought to St. Croix by enslaved Africans during their transatlantic voyage. Standing with a trunk girth of over 50 feet, this “Tree of Life” stands as an impressive testament to centuries-old Caribbean culture.
