Last Saturday signified my second St. Patrick’s Day celebration on St. Croix. In contrast to the previous year when I was a newcomer to the island, unfamiliar with many faces, this time around, I was extended an invitation by some local friends to participate and assist with one of the floats in the 53rd St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The float I joined held a special place in my heart, as it was sponsored by none other than my favorite local haunt, the Lost Dog Pub in Frederiksted.
